Product specifically designed to be used only in soil. Test the pH of your soil in about 1 minute. We recommend testing the soil around plants such as rhododendrons, azaleas, and most other shade plants. Do not place any liquids on the tester. Our native soil is alkaline, so unless you have amended the soil, you should see the meter reads alkaline. This unit requires 1 AA battery.
