Maple, Japanese Emperior 1
An upright maple, similar to 'Bloodgood', but with a faster growth rate. This cultivar has a narrower habit with dark red-purple leaves which turn scarlet in the fall. Ideal for the Treasure Valleys climate. As with all Japanese maples, we recommend protecting them from our harsh afternoon sun and our winter conditions.
