INSECTS TO CONTROL THIS MONTH...

  1. Hi-Yield Bug Blaster 'Above/Below'. Many folks call us with problems in their lawn this time of year. Most often our calls are related to patches of the lawn is dying and they have increased the watering, but the lawn continues dying. More likely than not you are experiencing billbug/chinch infestations. Both these little critters eat and destroy sod roots or destroy the plant just above ground level. Both insects can be controlled with Bug Blaster 'Above/Below' insecticide. If you are not sure what the problem is with your lawn, we recommend you bring a 1-square foot of lawn into our nursey and let us help you with solving your lawn problems. The general manager has over 48 years of experience in the nursery industry and is an Idaho Certified Nurseryman.

  2. Budworms wreck havoc with petunias and geraniums. Are you experiencing problems with blooming on petunias or geraniums? One of the most common problems we see is a shortage of the elements that produce blooms. We highly recommend Ferti-lome 'Blooming & Rooting' food. Using this specific fertilizer will help your blooming plants produce gorgeous flowers throughout the blooming season.
